Hilary Harrison creates modern rugs

Hilary studied at Herefordshire College of Art & Design and took a specialist degree course in Kidderminster, the heart of the British Carpet Industry.
Whilst at college Hilary took part in a project with Dupont at Domotex 1998 for which she won 1st prize for designing modern rugs. Dupont’s marketing department used these samples to promote their new micro fibre.
Hilary’s design work has been chosen by major manufacturers of carpets and modern rugs across the world.
Working on the archives at Woodward Grosvenor, she gained valuable experience of historical design.
Continuing her professional development, she has recently been attending several Fine Art printmaking courses at The Sydney Nolan Trust in Presteigne.
