The Esc key
on the far left is the "Escape" key. It's function is to step you back from the current option.
The F1 through to F12 keys are "Function" keys.
The Function Keys can be given special functions by programs.
If a program instructs you to press "F8,"
Then PRESS THE KEY WITH "F8" on it !
