Succession Began Producing contemporary English furniture in 1993 with the Trinity Leather coffee table after graduating from 8 years spent dealing in period furniture and coming to the conclusion that quality, (particularly in construction and raw materials), was sadly lacking in furniture production of today. Setting out to address this by designing and commissioning hand made items in limited numbers, using quality materials and preferring to focus on the individuality of such pieces rather than the uniformity of mass production Succession has grown and now delivers a large range of furniture for many different uses, from storage to seating, lighting and tables that all have in common a belief in the form following the function, quality materials and the intended use being of primary importance.

Highly Sprung Limited was formed in 1987 to manufacture and retail high quality upholstered furniture. The factory at High Wycombe produces twenty-four designs of sofas, all available as 2 seaters, 2.5 seaters and three seater sizes, some with matching armchairs. Also a range of fifteen occasional chairs and smaller items such as footstools and pouffes. We also manufacture one off bespoke items.
We make our traditional frames from beech or seasoned hardwood; being glued, screwed and dowelled, then spring with either coil or serpentine springs.

Lyndon Design was formed in 1982 with the initial pieces being made in a small garage in Cheltenham. The garage has long since gone, but Lyndon is still run by the same team who have continued to steadily expand the business.
The year 2001 was a particularly important milestone as we bring together under one roof our entire operation. Frame making upholstery, development and administration etc. We work extensively with architects, interior designers and decorators throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.
The majority of our turnover comes from our standard product range, but we continue to produce and develop all sorts of special seating for all sorts of unusual assignments.

Tom Faulkner
Ten years ago furniture designer Tom Faulkner made a great discovery: steel. He was seduced by its strength, its versatility, and its stylistic possibilities. He decided to make steel furniture his business and has not looked back since.
He has designed several different ranges of furniture, some classical and some very contemporary. Either way, his aim has "always been to create beauty and elegance using clean simple lines." Tom says that "without unnecessary ornament, beauty comes from the line, the finish, and the detail". Meticulous workmanship and attention to detail in both the manufacture and finishing are paramount, and are the hallmarks of Tom Faulkner furniture.
