Hilary Harrison creates contemporary rugs
|

from patterns, which look as if they have existed for years,
but in fact are totally new. By exploring and reinterpreting the visual
material of previous eras including that of Victoriana, art nouveau, art
deco, and the late twentieth century, together with wood cut illustrations.
The Company has brought fresh ideas and a new decorative approach to carpets
and rugs.

In 2002 they opened their new show room and spacious studio where they display a
colourful collection of hand made contemporary rugs, all designed by Hilary, ideas that
are based on original artwork which she produces in the studio.
There is
no better way to appreciate a contemporary rug than to see it made up.

Established ten years ago by Hilary Harrison
and her husband David, located in the heart of rural Worcestershire,
England, they welcome visitors with a drink, a relaxed and unhurried
atmosphere and a chance to admire the view!
